Description
TERROIR
AREA: Cirò Marina (KR).
VINEYARD: Marinetto fg.24 p.lla16. It develops on hills well exposed with strong thermal excursion.
SOIL: mainly clayey, sometimes with presence of limestone and marl, arid and poor.
CLIMATE: long, warm and dry summers, with few rains; the proximity to the Jonio Sea mitigates temperatures, favoring early maturation and resistance to diseases thanks to ventilation.
VINIFICATION
Maceration and fermentation at controlled temperature with periodic reassemblies. Aging in oak tonneaux.
TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE: light purple red.
AROMA: Elegant and rich with small red fruits and flowers and spices of the Mediterranean scrub.
TASTE: good body, soft and persistent with fruity mouth.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Excellent with tasty white and red meats, tomato tuna, grilled vegetables and cheeses.
