Description
TERROIR
AREA: Lavello (PZ).
VINEYARD: Contrada Riseca fg.42 p.lla 60.
SOIL: volcanic, fertile and draining
CLIMATE: strong thermal excursions, with warm days and fresh nights, which favor the aromatic maturation of the grapes.
VINIFICATION
Maceration and fermentation at controlled temperature with periodic reassemblies. Aging in oak tonneaux.
TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE: rightly intense red with garnet nail and right glyceric density.
AROMA: intense and complex of ripe red fruit, flowers such as ranunculum and anamone and other herbaceous species of the saddle of Mount Vulture. Tertiary background of vanilla, cloves and sweet tobacco.
TASTE: large nerbo, full, round, soft and persistent with fruity mouth.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Excellent with red meat and game, grilled cheeses and tasty or spicy dishes.
